Step 1: CHOOSING YOUR NEW J.W. MASHBURN HOME
Visit our Model Home in The Villas at Cascata Lakes located at 2828 SW 140th Street. Your Community Manager will help you decide on the right floor plan and home site to fit your life style.
Step 2: CUSTOMIZING YOUR NEW HOME
Our motto at J.W. Mashburn Homes is Your Life, Your Home ℠. What that means is that we are not satisfied with your home unless you are. To that extent, our floor plans are designed to be flexible and we encourage you to speak with your Community Manager about making the floor plan changes and selecting the options that fit your lifestyle.
Step 3: PERSONAL CHOICES
You will want to personalize your new home to fit your life style and this is where the fun begins. You will visit our design center, which is conveniently located in the same community that your dream home is being built. There you will begin selecting your colors for granite, tile, paint, carpet, brick, counter tops and many other custom design features.
Step 4: ARRANGING THE FINANCING FOR YOUR NEW HOME
Your Community Managers will explain in detail the steps necessary to obtain the type of financing that best fits your budget. In the 50+ years we have been creating homes we have seen almost every circumstance imaginable. Due to this, we know the importance of partnering with preferred lenders that are not only experts in customer service but also knowledgeable of the ever-changing real estate financing climate. By using one of our preferred lenders you will receive competitive interest rates, excellent customer service and access to numerous loan programs. As an added bonus, we will also participate in paying your closing costs when you use one of our preferred lenders.
Step 5: YOUR PLANS ARE ON THEIR WAY!
Your Community Manager will order your custom floor plans once you have made the final decisions on any changes or options you wish to include and we have received the loan commitment letter from your lender.
Step 6: PRE-CONSTRUCTION MEETING WITH THE BUILDER
Your Community Manager will notify you when your plans are received and will schedule an appointment for you to meet with your Builder. You and the builder will go through every detail on your home plans to make sure they meet your approval. This hands-on approach is one of many quality assurance measures throughout your home buying experience to ensure that your experience is the best it can be.
Step 7: WATCH IT GROW
You will be provided with an estimated Construction Timeline & Milestone Table so you can keep track of the building process.
Step 8: SCHEDULED UPDATES
Your Community Manager will also keep you updated on the progress of your new home and schedule walk-throughs with you at various stages of the construction process. However, should you ever have any questions or concerns your community manager is always there to assist you and ensure that the process of creating your dream home is the greatest you can imagine.
Step 9: ORIENTATION
Your Community Manager will schedule a final walk-through with you and cover how everything works, your warranty and any move-in questions. Your Homeowners Guide will provide you with a convenient list of utility service providers.
Step 10: IT’S TIME TO MOVE IN!
Your Community Manager will co-ordinate your closing date and time with you, the title company, and your lender. Closing takes place as soon as your home is complete. As another example of our never-ending drive towards total customer satisfaction, we will schedule follow-up visits with you at 30, 180 & 360 day intervals to make certain that your home and our company exceed your expectations.
